feeding the squirrels.

My local park is very close to my flat so Gavin and I (on a nice day of course) sometimes buy a bag of monkey nuts and head down there to feed the squirrels! They have no fear. They come straight up to you and take the nut outs your hand! So cute.

THEE MOST IMPRESSIVE BIRTHDAY CARD EVER!

I totally forgot to blog this at the time but it's still amazing months on! This is the card that my wonderful boyfriend Gavin made me for my 23rd birthday as he knows how much I LOVE SHARKS and to get me even more excited for our shark diving experience in South Africa the following month!

IT'S POP UP!

And last year he made me this cake...

let's go on a date honey.

Gavin and I have been dating for just over 2 years and it's been amazing. I think it's very important to keep things fresh so we still like going on dates together. It sounds more exciting than just going out for dinner! We had a lovely time in Little Italy on Byres Road eating tasty pizza..

Then we went to Peckhams for some tasty caramel shortbread and found some amusing things!

We took our caramel shortbread to the park and we weren't the only ones enjoying it!

how cute is this little guy? he was totally fearless too, just wandered over, took the shortbread and walked away!

To end our wonderful date we went for a couple of drinks in a nice wee west end bar and then headed home complete with popcorn to watch a couple of movies snuggled up together on the couch :) x

fancy some place new?

I love Hillhead Bookclub. It's warm, inviting, has a fantastic, reasonably priced menu and i mention they have a Sega Mega Drive and a ping pong table? Gavin and I had a lovely, romantic dinner there the other nice and I can say it was the best hands down fish and chips I've had in a long time! It's just situated on Vivicombe Street, just off the hustle and bustle of the popular Byres Road in the west end of Glasgow.
