it's been a while.

Many apologies for not posting anything in over a month. I have been in the beautiful South Africa with my wonderful boyfriend and without my beloved Macbook. 6 cameras of all shapes, sizes and image quality came with me to South Africa, photos to come but in the meantime here are some things I've missed about Glasgow.

  cow, of course.

 my mamma.

 the graffiti.

 Clare and Joce.

 the countryside.

 odd vehicles.

 my photojojo book.

 my flatmate, David.

And last but not least Ichiban Noodles.

world war z!

You may have heard, you may not have heard, that Brad Pitt is making a new zombie movie and some of it is being filmed in my lovely city of Glasgow! To make this happen, some of our city centre has been transformed into Philadelphia, apparently they have similar architecture and the streets have a similar grid layout! It's very exciting, not many big blockbusters are filmed in Glasgow, the only other one I can think of is Trainspotting! Filming started late last week and it's been well under way ever since...some of my friends being zombie extras so I had a little walk around George Square which is the primary location for filming.

All photos personal.

AUGUST BREAK...DAY 3.

Taken from the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, 2007 by myself.

spider spider.

As a child my granny made up this little poem so make spiders seem less scary...

Spider, spider on the ceiling,
How are your little legs feeling?
My legs are feeling very sore,
I won't climb this ceiling anymore.
